Number 1: Fisherman’s Wharf

Fisherman’s Wharf is a popular historic neighborhood in San Francisco. It got its name in the 1800s when fishermen provided food for hordes of gold rushers and the wharf became a home base for their fishing fleet. In the 1970s, it became a world famous tourist attraction.

Fisherman’s Wharf includes several interesting locations such as Spear 39. We will find restaurants shops and other attractions, for example Sea Lions Bay Cruises, Purcell Infinite, mirror maze aquarium and many more. The Palace of Fine Arts is not the same one that was there in 1915. The decorative structures are a reproduction that was built decades later. Most of the original statues were lost to time.
